Santig received the 2019 'South East Asia Promoter of the Year' award, a prestigious accolade recognizing his exceptional contributions to boxing and Muay Thai.

In a letter sent to Santig, the WBC Asian Boxing Council conveyed their pleasure in the following words:
"WBC Asian Boxing Council is most pleased to inform you that you have been selected to receive the 2019 'South East Asia Promoter of the Year' award. The awards presentation will be held during the Gala Dinner night, on March 14 - 17, 7 PM - 10 PM, at the Athenee Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand."

Santig, who owned Highland Boxing Promotions based in La Trinidad, Benguet, played a crucial role in the training and promotion of numerous boxing veterans and champions.
