A graduate of the Benguet State University Veterinary Medicine landed in the Top 10 of the recent Veterinarian licensure examination.

Agustina Bilet Puclo landed number 4 with a rating of 84.34 percent to lead the 23 new veterinarians produced by the BSU.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that a total of 327 out of 762 passed the Veterinarian Licensure Examination given by the Board of Veterinary Medicine in the cities of Manila, Baguio and Cagayan de Oro.

Puclo, a farmers' daughter from Tuba, Benguet, said that it has been her passion to become a veterinarian since she grew up taking care of farm animals with her nine siblings. Due to the financial constraints, she had to self-review in order to prepare for the board exams she took in August.

Meanwhile, the PRC announced that passers should go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag) and 2 sets of documentary stamps. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
