Ollasic, Guyao, Guiwanas and Balinte

Four Kalinga maingor (warriors) photographed at the Baguio Carnival and Exposition of 1949.

All of these Kalinga men fought during the Japanese occupation and were photographed in their best durao (headdress) and baag (loincloth) for the Exposition.

Their tattoos (batek), which were badges of honor back home, were a big draw since most visitors had never seen tattooed warriors with spears (balbeg) before.

PBGEN STEVE B. LUDAN: The first General of Lubo, Tanudan, Kalinga

Our humble Kailyan is a native of Tanudan and Benguet though more eloquent in speaking the lubo Kalinga language.

He is a member of the illustrous Philippine Military Academy " Tanglaw Diwa" Class of 1992.

With his stellar performance being in the police service for years, he bagged the most prestigious award being a recipient of COP Country's outstanding policemen in the Service 2012.

A great father, husband, son and kailyan who had shared his blessings to his village men and the people around him.

A huge blessing, with the grace of God, had been outpoured to him.. The first General of Lubo, Tanudan, Kalinga, PBGEN STEVE B. LUDAN!!!!

Not safe for work

Nude photo of an Igorot woman.

Photo taken by Masferre. No description available.

The half-naked lady in the photo could be a member of the Kalinga tribe, probably somewhere in Lubuagan.
