Illegal weed recovered in Baguio park

BAGUIO CITY - Authorities recovered 10 grams of dried marijuana tops in a Baguio City park.

According to the report, personnel of the Baguio City Police Office - Station 7 received a call from a barangay kagawad from Malcolm Square regarding marijuana found there.

Authorities immediately responded to the scene, where the barangay kagawad pointed out the location of the marijuana.

The illegal plants were recovered containing two zip lock plastic bags and lying under a chair in the park.

The two women saw the contraband, so they immediately reported to the garrison at the nearby establishment.

To date, investigations are ongoing to identify the perpetrators of the alleged contraband.
