Usernames: What Are They?

Usernames are part of your public profile, which helps your friends find you on Igorotage.


Your username is often a variation of your name like carrot.man143 or carrotman1. You can create your own username, or if you signup using Facebook, we create a suggestion.

Here are some of the things usernames do:

  • Usernames can also be used to access information about you through Igorotage. For example, if your username is carrotman143, someone can go to “” to see your profile and any other information.
  • Usernames can also be used by other users to @mention you.
  • Usernames create a custom link (example: to your profile that you can share with your friends or post on other websites.
