Three Cordillerans from UK are now a Guinness World Records title holder for taking part in the virtual Virgin Money London Marathon held 04 October 2020. Joan Aplod, Chester Feliciano and Dukaw Cadiogan were presented with the Certificate of Participation to recognise their contribution to this title.

More than 37,000 people, from all corners of the world, completed the virtual Virgin Money London Marathon on Sunday 4 October 2020. The final finisher total of 37,966 means the event has been awarded an official Guinness World Records title for the Most users to run a remote marathon in 24 hours.

The record that they have participated in is now one of the 40,000 world records that are held on the Guinness World Records database, according to the President of Guinness World Records, Alistair Richards.

Dukaw will be running the actual London marathon on 03 October 2021 while Chester and Joan will run it virtually.

Congratulations! You are Officially Amazing for raising the Igorot banner!
