Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is possibly the greatest composer who ever lived.

Born to a musical household, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a prodigy composing and performing for high courts and royalty at age 5.

His father, Leopold was an accomplished composer-violinist. His sister Mary Anne was equally gifted pianist and as children Wolfgang Amadeus and Mary Anne performed together around Europe.
A biographer remarked that "there was nothing special about [his] physique. He was small and his countenance, except for his large intense eyes, gave no signs of his genius." His face was marked by unforgiving scars of childhood case of smallpox. But he was Vienna's music royalty and had Europe's society at his feet.
He loved his pet. In Vienna, he had a pet starling that he kept his back yard. He taught it to sing bars of music which he recorded in his notebook. When it died,
he gave his pet bird a ceremonious burial complete with band and procession and recited a poem he had composed for its eulogy. And yes, there was a huge throng of attendees. He gave it a proper gravestone on which he wrote an inscription.

Meet the man who was blessed with a finest gift of the divine.
