Tristan Sannad Chatoy, a Grade 1 student from Canada, was born on March 23, 2016. Tracing his roots to Paracelis, Mountain Province, Philippines, Chatoy is not your average first-grader. He is a shining example of what is possible when young talents are nurtured, and hard work meets passion.

By May 2023, Chatoy had reached Kumon level H 50, a level typically for students in Grade 7 or 8, an achievement that makes him the youngest student in Canada to ever reach this level. But Chatoy's math prowess didn't stop there. By August 2023, he further climbed to the top, ranking number one among 4,135 Grade 1 students in Canada, now at Kumon level H 190 - the equivalent of a Grade 10 or Grade 11 math level in the regular school system, an extraordinary accomplishment that showcases his unparalleled dedication and mathematical brilliance.

Chatoy's mathematical genius has not gone unnoticed. He is an esteemed member of the Canadian Mathematical Society, making him one of the youngest members in the organization.
