I Can't Access Igorotage, My Browser Was Blocked?

You might be wondering why we blocked your browser. This is actually for your own good. You can thank us later.

Introduction

So you are browsing your Facebook feed and then you saw this very interesting post from the Igorot community. You're so excited to read the article but then...boom! You see this big Browser Blocked! warning. We know it's frustrating.

Why am I seeing this?

We're so sorry but it appears like you're trying to access Igorotage using Facebook's in-app browser. We choose to block this browser for your security and that it introduces new problems.

  • Facebook may still track your online activities. Yes, Facebook has issues when it comes to their user's privacy. Isn't it creepy when someone knows whatever you're doing online?
  • Your anti-virus may not work. Come on, install a free anti-virus software and block those malicious websites.
  • Our site may not function properly.

How can I regain access to Igorotage?

We know that you still want to access the page. That's the reason why you tried to access it in the first place, right? Don't worry, you have a lot of options. Here are some.

Use a full-fledged browser

In order to access Igorotage, we strongly suggest you to use a real browser and type the link provided. i.e.,

  • Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Safari

Alternatively, find the menu (next to Share button) on top of your screen, from the dropdown, tap "Open in {your browser}" or Open with....

Disable Facebook browser permanently

To disable Facebook browser, visit your app settings and turn on the "Always open links with external browsers" option. That's it!

This solution doesn't seem to work on the latest versions of the Facebook app because the option was intentionally removed by Facebook.
