Engineering and infrastructure firm Megawide revealed details of its Banaue Rice Terraces -inspired architectural design for the P109 billion rehabilitation of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 (T1).

"We're not just rehabilitating an airport, we're creating a new symbol for the country," declated Louie Ferrer, Megawide Executive Director for Infrastructure Development.

UPDATE: The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) has revoked the original proponent status (OPS) granted to Megawide Construction Corp. and GMR Infrastructure for the rehabilitation of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
