KIBUNGAN COMMEMORATES LIBERATION DAY

For the third time, Kibungan solemnly celebrated its 78th Liberation Day with Benguet Vice Governor Ericson L. Felipe as guest speaker on May 17.

For the third time, Kibungan solemnly celebrated its 78th Liberation Day with Benguet Vice Governor Ericson L. Felipe as guest speaker on May 17, 2023.

During the said observance, the living World War II spouses were presented by Jose Bandiwan, the Kibungan SDAI Post president.

Kibungan Mayor Ceasar M. Molitas and Vice Mayor Edwin G. Nitron led the wreath laying and star-spangled banner at the veterans' memorial park.

Floral ceremony was also one of the parts of the rites through the Sangguniang Bayan members, barangay officials and staff, municipal employees, veterans and auxiliaries, SDAI and visitors.

The Kibungan PNP concluded the celebration with the traditional taps and guns salute.
