Bontoc Opens Inter-barangay Tourism
Bontoc, Mountain Province is now opening its inter-barangay tourism activities, effective October 28, 2020.
This was the consensus of all the 16 barangays of Bontoc during the Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) meeting on October 21, 2020, held in Barangay Talubin.
Municipal Tourism Officer Caren R. Guinayen presented the idea to the members of the council, of which nobody objected.
Per the agreement, only Bontoc locals shall be allowed to visit the tourist attractions in any of the 16 barangays.
However, minimum health standards shall be observed as stipulated in the mayor's Executive Order No. 35, S. 2020.
