Maricris Lad-ey-Neyney, an Igorot woman from Benguet province, has topped three board exams and is now a licensed psychologist. She is an inspiration to us all and a testament to the power of hard work, determination, and perseverance.

Maricris Payagen Lad-ey-Neyney, a 38-year-old Igorot woman from Benguet province, has topped three board exams and is now a licensed psychologist.

Neyney grew up in a farming community in Buguias town, Benguet province. She helped her parents plant highland crops such as potatoes, cabbage, and carrots from a young age. She knew that she wanted to help people, so she decided to study psychology.

Neyney earned a scholarship to study psychology at St. Louis Academy in Baguio City. She graduated with honors in 2005. She then went on to earn a master's degree in guidance and counseling from Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University.

Maricris Lad-ey-Neyney, a 38-year-old Igorot woman from Benguet province, has topped three board exams and is now a licensed psychologist. She is an inspiration to us all.

In 2011, Neyney passed the Philippine Board Exam for Guidance Counselors, ranking third. This was a major accomplishment, as it is a difficult exam to pass. Neyney was proud of her achievement, but she knew that she wanted to do more.

In 2012, Neyney took the Philippine Board Exam for Professional Teachers. This was the hardest exam she had ever taken, but she was determined to succeed. She passed the exam, but she did not place in the top 10.

Neyney did not give up. In 2018, she took the Philippine Board Exam for Psychometricians. She passed the exam with flying colors, ranking eighth. This was a major accomplishment, as the psychometrician licensure exam is one of the most difficult in the Philippines.

In 2023, Neyney took the Philippine Board Exam for Psychologists. Neyney passed the exam with a score of 85.05, placing seventh. This was her third time to top a board exam, and it was a major accomplishment.

Neyney is now a licensed psychologist and a teacher at Benguet State University. She is also an on-call volunteer at the Dynamic Integration of Wellness clinic in Benguet. She is passionate about helping people and making a difference in the world.

Neyney is an inspiration to us all. She is a testament to the power of hard work, determination, and perseverance. She is an example of what can be achieved when we set our minds to it.

Neyney has some advice for future board exam takers:

  • Be prepared. Do your research and make sure you know the material.
  • Have a positive attitude. Believe in yourself and don't give up.
  • Pray. Ask for God's help and guidance.
  • Don't be afraid to fail. Failure is a part of the learning process.
  • Never give up on your dreams. If you keep working hard, you will eventually achieve your goals.

Neyney is an inspiration to us all. She is a role model for women and girls everywhere. She shows us that anything is possible if we set our minds to it.
