The baby died shortly after the crash of a motorcycle in Coplo, Nangalisan, Tuba, Benguet.
According to the Tuba Municipal Police Station, the victim was only a year and six months old.
Christflor De Guzman Benito, the 22-year-old mother of the baby boy, and Philip Kias, 37, both residents of Nangalisan, Tuba, Benguet, were injured in the accident.
Motorcycle driver Nicole Pasigon, 20, a resident of KM 5, Asin Road, Baguio City, and his passenger, Bernard Fernando Sia-o, 18, were identified.
According to the police, the victims were just sitting on the side of the road when they were hit by the motorcycle.
Authorities found that the motorcycle had broken the line, resulting in a crash on the victims.
They were rushed to the hospital but the baby did not make it.
Police are still investigating the accident.
