The community-led endeavor is part of the municipality's Barangay Beautification Contest sponsored by the local government unit and is an activity for the Foundation Anniversary on December 11, 2020.

Mayor Victorio Palangdan thanked the residents of Itogon for their cooperation and unity in helping improve and beautify the municipality. Palangdan said the beautification activities also became a way to release the stress and boredom of people while on lockdown due to the global health crisis and a way to feel the Christmas spirit.
