Igorot Judoka Wins Bronze for Canada in the Pan American Judo Senior Championship Tournament in Guadalajara, Mexico on November 22, 2020.
Son of Sagada, Mountain Province Kyle Surik Reyes had gained a victory against American L.A. Smith III in an earlier match. He ended today's tournament on a high note, whipping American Nathaniel Keeve to earn the bronze medal in 100kg.
Kyle Reyes, 27, is a Canadian judoka who contends in the men's 100 kg category. Reyes was born in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Reyes won the gold medal at the 2013 World Junior Championships in Ljubljana, become the first Canadian judoka to win a World Junior Championships gold medal.
