According to P/Maj. Rommel Sawatang, Chief of Police, said it is a psychological approach to encourage residents to follow the Enhanced Community Quarantine protocol.

He said they decided to take such a step as they observed that many Itogon residents were still going outside their homes.

The official thanked the people who appreciated the strategy and hoped it would not negatively affect the residents of Itogon.
