The owner of the money, an OFW from Kapangan, was very grateful to Agyapas and Denson for their honesty. He said that he had lost hope of ever seeing his money again.

"I am so grateful to Erwil and Jimmer for their honesty. They have shown that there are still good people in the world who are willing to do the right thing, even when it is not easy," said the owner of the money.

Mayor Armand Lauro of Tublay also commended Agyapas and Denson for their honesty. He said that the two men are a good example of the kind of people that Tublay is proud to call its own.

"I hope that their story will inspire others to be honest and to do the right thing," added Mayor Lauro.

Agyapas said that he returned the money because he knows how it feels to lose something. He said that he would not want someone else to experience the same pain.

Denson said that he was simply doing the right thing. He said that he could not imagine keeping the money for himself, knowing that it belonged to someone else.

Meanwhile, Mayor Lauro commended the honest acts of the two and said that they will be included in the list of individuals who will receive a plaque of commendation on November this year, during the town's foundation day celebration.

Lauro also offered a small cash reward to the two and thanked them for their honesty and for resisting temptation. He said that their actions are a good reflection for Tublay's constituents this Lenten season, and that they are worthy to be emulated.

Agyapas and Denson are a reminder that there are still good people in the world. They are an inspiration to us all to be honest and to do the right thing, even when it is not easy.
