MK DIGITALES ESPOUSES ITS CHARITY

Charity work gives hope especially to those in need to be better -MK DIGITALES-

"Charity work gives hope especially to those in need to be better" -MK DIGITALES-

Protecting the children with trauma from the impact of Corona virus: MK DIGITALES takes actions! It is known by many that charitable activity is one of the ways of showing love and kindness to others unconditionally, which symbolizes a giving heart, without having such expectations and rewards to be given in return. If done with a good purpose, it is worth sharing to the community not only to inspire people, but to involve them in this kind of activities.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major effect on children living with trauma. Many of them are facing challenges giving them stress, causing strong emotions in their life while battling with their traumas. With this, our noble purpose is to help them cope with stress in a healthy way that will make them feel they are loved, appreciated and accepted despite their situation. We want these children to feel that there are still people who care about them, go around with them, and help them to become more resilient.

On January 6, 2021, it was such a good start of the year as MK Digitales had its first charitable work to its adopted orphanage, The Child and Family Service Philippines on Easter Rd in Baguio City. So nice, according to many, that MK has known its purpose in the society-to give a helping life. In this time of a global pandemic, mental health especially among children is more indispensable than ever. These unprecedented times compel us to help children overcome mental distress.

The purpose of MK Digitales was to bring the children back to the past where there was no Corona virus and gadgets pervading everything. The children were wanted to experience life in the past when all had the freedom to play outside. The children played traditional games namely patintero, luksong tinik, Jack en Poy and the like so that they could feel the freedom that children used to have. We wanted them to have the best connection on which there was no WiFi, but with each other like a day when they forgot about their worries from their traumas, and a day when they were brought back to the past.

Thanks to Child and Family Service Philippines, Baguio. We were so lucky to be able to give these lovely children a day they will never forget. We have been so thankful that they gave us a day we will never forget.

The MK Digitales team was also given the opportunity to showcase their talents to the children. We were ecstatic to find out that these angels also had their own talents to show as well. Everyone had so much fun giving us difficulty to end the day without tearing up.

Before we headed home, the kids gifted us with a dance and song performances that truly touched our hearts.

It was an unforgettable day! It was such a day to be thankful for! Mission Accomplished! It was a day when we served our purpose- the gift of a giving life!

The greatest gift to be shared to the community is our contribution to making lives better. This adopted charity helps us to touch lives in order to spread light to the most needy during the pandemic which could give us enlightenment to serve our purpose.
