Pinikpaella

An idea of a fusion between the Igorot Pinikpikan and Spanish paella dishes.

The pinikpaella would be like this but well substitute or change the shrimp with etag, the crab with bongsos, the chorizo with pinuneg.

Since the main ingredients of the paella are chicken and chicken stock, why not try to merge the Pinikpikan with paella and substitute the other additives like shrimps with etag, the squid with bongsos and the chorizo with pinuneg. Came up with the idea as i was cooking this version of a paella earlier. I think this would be a hit with today's adventurous foodies. Innovative and fusion restos have sprouted like mushrooms back home in Baguio, Trinidad and along the Halsema highway. This might be a welcome food treat after all our famous rice toppings all started with an idea. But first, let me try and see how it goes and how it would taste. Good day all.
