Police are still conducting in-depth investigations into the discovery of two bodies of students on a pasture land on the boundary of Conner, Apayao and Tuao, Cagayan yesterday.
They were identified as Justin Gracia, 15, resident of Nambaran, Tabuk City, Kalinga and Jessie James Ola-ao, 21, resident of Dagupan West, Tabuk City, Kalinga.
Police Lt. Carolyn Domyong, Officer-in-Charge of the Conner Municipal Police Station, said personnel of their station were jogging when they discovered blood marks on the road, which they followed until they found two bodies.
She said both of them had their hands tied with duct tape and their heads were wrapped in garbage bags.
During the processing of the corpses by PNP Crime Lab personnel, it was discovered that Gracia sustained two gunshot wounds to the head while Ola-ao sustained six gunshot wounds to the head.
Based on the investigation, Gracia told her mother on May 6 that he will be attending a wedding in their neighborhood with Ola-ao, but they never came home.
