Executive Committees and volunteers led by Ms. Jianlin D. Floresca, the CEO of Ray Casa Group of Companies met this morning at the YMCA Function Hall on the 30th day of May 2022 to discuss the preparation for the Man of the World Pageant that will be held this 18th of June 2022 in Baguio City Convention Center.
In Collaboration with Director Kneil Harley, Production Director of the event, the Be Unrivaled Productions under Ray-Casa Group of Companies is in charge of producing the 4th Edition Man of the World Pageant. During the Orientation, local Dancers and performers in the city were asked to have an audition, in preparation for the performances during the event proper. Committees composed of different volunteers and representatives, from different organizations and universities specifically, student interns from the University of the Cordilleras, Benguet State University, University of Baguio, Baguio City Street Dance Company, and other volunteers in the Region, have given tasks in contribution for the success of the event.
Man of the World Pageant is composed of 40 candidates from 40 different countries manifesting Masculinity with Responsibility. They will be competing to be crowned as the next Man of the World as they are to be conquered by the Mountains of the Cordilleras. This event takes place in promoting tourism as well as introducing the rich culture in the region.
Highlighted by Ms. Jianlin D. Floresca, the promotion of tourism in the region doesn't just focus on introducing its beauty, but is more likely to promote the companies' objective of introducing job opportunities to locals living in far areas in the Cordilleras. The Man of the World Pageant opens up chances in promoting the Cordilleras culture globally, for locals' exposure to gaining the sustainable livelihood they deserve.
