Abra Police opens "Honesty Store"

In conjunction with the ongoing ECQ due to COVID-19, the Abra Police Provincial Office (PPO) opened the so-called "Honesty Store" in Bangued.

In conjunction with the ongoing Enhanced Community Quarantine throughout Luzon due to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), the Abra Police Provincial Office (PPO) has opened an Honesty Store inside their office at Camp Juan Villamor, Bangued.

According to P/Col. Alfredo Dangani, provincial director of the Abra PPO, said the Honesty Store will help prevent further congestion in local markets and groceries.

According to him, Abra PPO staff will be able to show their loyalty where only the buyers can put their payment in the designated payment box.

The store opens on Tuesdays and Thursdays where Abra PPO personnel can also sell their local agricultural products.

Dangani said the project would also help sell the farmers' products there.

Prior to this, the Abra provincial government has taken steps to buy local farmers and fishermen products and distribute them as relief goods to Abra people.
