Rom Ivan F. Balangue, Baguio grad ranks 6th in the October 2021 Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination.

Rom Ivan Fajardo Balangue, a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Baguio (UB), was among the top passers of the October 2021 Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination held last October in various cities in the country.

Engr. Balangue earned the 6th spot together with University of Santa La Salle grad Bryce Bertram Siopan Sison after garnering a rating of 89.30% among the 710 successful examinees.

Meanwhile, David XYZ Temple Callena of the University of Southeastern Philippines-Davao City topped the examination after garnering 92.8 percent rating followed by Hashim Monir Mokamad Ambia of Mindanao State University-Gen. Santos City with a rating of 92 percent.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 710 out of 1,484 passed the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination and 738 out of 974 passed the Electronics Technician Licensure Examination given by the Board of Electronics Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last October 2021. The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld as per Board Resolution No. 06 dated November 4, 2021.

The successful examinees who garnered the ten (10) highest places in the October 2021 Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination are the following:
