Beauty, Brains and Style: Cordilleran graduates with a double Magna Cum Laude in just three years

Fil-Kiwi-Aussie beauty, Maynah Josephine Lourellen Borja Erece will graduate with two degrees from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia in December. She graduates with a Bachelor of Science major in Psychology (Upper Second Class Honours, Division A) and a Bachelor of Arts major in Creative and Critical Writing (Upper Second Class Honours, Division A), making her one of a few Filipinos to ever graduate from a double degree with Division A class honours in three years.

Maynah taught herself to read at 3 years old, and choreographed dance routines at 4 years old. An academic accelerant, she started university papers at 13 years old while still in high school. In 2019, she was awarded the notable achievement award for the Jordan Electorate in Queensland upon completion of secondary school and the Vice Chancellor's Scholarship. The scholarship is a full ride, academic scholarship from the University of Southern Queensland. It took Maynah only three years to complete her degrees. In 2019, she presented at the Conference for the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children held at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Maynah shared her story and her views on the challenges of twice gifted and talented students in front of stunned education experts gathered from around the world in a presentation titled : "Yes, Dad. I can hear you! I'm choosing to ignore you."

An artist at heart, Maynah trained extensively in classical ballet from the Royal Academy of Dance, London starting at 3 years old and also has a Certificate in Commercial dance from Dance College London. She studied with Ballet Queensland under Ballet legend, Li Cunxin (Mao's Last Dancer), She participated in multiple stage productions and in Hollywood bit roles. When not dancing or producing, she choreographs stage performances and organizes stage productions and multicultural festivals.

Maynah is no stranger to breaking world records being the younger sister of Atty. Jozef Borja Erece, the youngest licensed lawyer in world history. Both Borja- Erece siblings are classified as profoundly gifted and extremely talented with genius level IQ. The family is deeply rooted in Baguio City and Northern Luzon. It is to be mentioned that the siblings' maternal grandmother is the late Maria Lourdes Soberano Borja from the Soberanos of Pangasinan and their paternal grandmother, Eleanor Minano Erece, is from the Minano clan of Romblon.
