USEC. JOSELINE Pugong NIWANE, the daughter of Retired Col. Francis Niwane and Mrs. Adela Pugong Niwane is from the Municipality of Banaue, Province of Ifugao. Ms. NIWANE had started as social worker in her humble province. Acclaimed with her steadfast love of service to the people and communites, she bagged numerous citation of honors and prominent recognition awards such as "Dangal ng Bayan" and many more, upholding her strength as a woman of influence that shines not only in the Ifugao Province but to the entire Cordillera Region. Amidst the glamorous demand of society, her undying commitment to public service leads her to various deserving promotions until she became the Undersecretary of Policy and Plans of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
This humble fellow from Ifugao emanates the courage in her struggles and determination in the face of adversities, and above all, A TRUE HUMANE DISPOSITION. The Cordillera people are not just proud of you but also grateful of your contributions, absolutely!
