Honest Baguio Resident Returns Unclaimed ATM Cash

Mr. Magangat Paga, an honest Igorot from Kalinga, returned a substantial amount of money forgotten in an ATM near the Post Office in Baguio City.

In a world where self-interest often prevails, Mr. Magangat Paga's act of honesty in returning unclaimed ATM cash is a refreshing reminder that there are still good people in the world.

In Baguio City, a remarkable story of integrity and doing the right thing has unfolded. It all started when a substantial amount of money was forgotten in an ATM near the Post Office. An unexpected turn of events occurred when a mother wearing her uniform attempted to withdraw cash, but a technical glitch caused a delay in the transaction. Frustrated, the mother cancelled the transaction and left without her money.

Mr. Magangat Paga, an Igorot from Tabuk City, Kalinga, witnessed the entire event. Instead of succumbing to the temptation to keep the money, he took immediate action and reported the situation to the Traffic Enforcement Unit, ensuring that the money would be safely kept until its rightful owner could be found.

Mr. Paga's story doesn't stop with his honest actions. He wanted to ensure that the unclaimed money found its way back to its owner. So, he posted a heartfelt message on social media.

Claim it at sayang, dapat alam mo Oras at ipakita mo suot mo nung nagwidraw ka."

In a world where self-interest often prevails, Mr. Paga's actions stand as a shining example of honesty and integrity. His story reminds us that kindness and ethical behavior are very much alive. In a time when cynicism sometimes outweighs positive attitudes, Mr. Magangat Paga's story shows us the power of doing what's right, even when no one is watching.

As of now, the unclaimed money remains secure, awaiting its rightful owner. Mr. Magangat Paga remains dedicated to ensuring that it gets back to where it belongs. This is the story of an honest Baguio resident who, through a single act of integrity, demonstrates that good deeds continue to shine in our world.
